Nice to Meet You
In 2025, I was selected for the EOS Space Camp Scholarship and I became the first Tasmanian to attend Space Tour USA.
Since my trip to the USA, I have become orders of magnitude more passionate about my interests in astronomy, rocketry, orbital mechanics, and mathematics.
With my 50 year old 10″ wide telescope, I spend many nights studying the sky, learning more about the universe in an attempt to achieve my ultimate goal: becoming an astronaut and the first Australian on Mars. I am currently enrolled in the Australian Air Force Cadets, where I hope to gain knowledge and experience that will help open pathways to a career in the RAAF.
Space Tour USA has brought me and other alumni closer together thanks to our shared passions, and together we have started a project with the aim of sending the first astronaut to space from Australian soil.
As well as this, I am actively working to convince the state government to supply funding for an event with One Giant Leap Australia in Tasmania.
I hope to give young Tasmanians the same opportunities in STEM as those on mainland Australia.
